Scrap Pinwheels

I have mostly lost all focus on whatever it was I was trying to accomplish and am now just messing around and experimenting. Exhibit A:

Perhaps there is a method to my madness. More to come...?

Yes, this is a very successful experiment. I love the cheerful colors and the contrast with the grey sashing.

Focus, shmokus. Sometimes the best things come when we just play. I like this and it looks great with that wooden piece on the mantle.

I like the grey. I've seen a few quilts now using grey, which is a color I'm not personally drawn to, but every time I think WOW.

Works for me.

And I agree about the grey. I think it's the missing link in the quilt palette. And I feel so strongly about this that I refuse to go back and unmix my metaphor.

Your scrap pinwheels look awesome. I LOVE how the brights contrast so nicely against the solid. You have a great eye for color!
